The Kawartha Arts Festival is passionate about giving the Artists of tomorrow a forum to display their work! We offer dedicated young artists space to showcase their Art alongside established artists at NO CHARGE.

Young@Art is Open to all School age, College/University students.

Community Showcase

Are you interested in selling your original art?

Young@Art will provide Young Artists booth space at no charge on a first apply first come basis. The showcase is able to display 2 to 3 pieces of their original along with other fellow artists.

All Art must be originals created solely by the Artist.
Note that space is limited so numbers will be dependant on size and space availability.
Do I need to be at the festival? Artists are welcome to be at the Festival but we understand it is a busy time so it’s not required.
All Art and parental consent forms must be received by the Kawartha Arts Studio staff on Thursday the 29th 10 am to 2 pm or Friday 9am to 5 pm. School pick up may be available on the 29th if prior arrangements are made.
Security will be on site through the night.
Application Deadline is June 15, 2024

What do you need to do?

Students must complete the Young @ Art Application below.
We have a new online system for applications, and ask that you get your images and bio ready before you fill out the form.
Any Students under the age of 18 must have their Parents sign the parental consent.
Photos of student’s work must be submitted with the application form. The Young@Art space is available at no charge to the Artists.
